Terms of use

Last updated: August 22, 2026

The service

Idus brings projects, tasks, notes, group chat and an AI assistant together, on Android, iOS and the web, with sync between your devices. These terms are an agreement between you and Nadir Miry, sole proprietor, operating Idus (the operator).

Your account

You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. Keep your codes private; you are responsible for activity under your account. One account is meant for one person.

Subscription and trial

Idus costs $5 per month or $48 per year, after a 7-day free trial that requires a card upfront; the card is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first. Payments are handled by Paddle, and you can cancel anytime from the links in your Paddle receipt or the checkout page. When a trial or subscription ends, the app becomes read-only for creation: everything you made stays visible and editable, but adding new items requires an active subscription.

Your content

Your content belongs to you. You give us only the rights needed to operate the service: storing and syncing your content, showing it to the people you invited, and processing it with the AI assistant when you ask for that. You are responsible for having the right to store and share what you put in Idus.

Acceptable use

Do not use Idus for illegal content or activity, do not try to access other people's data, do not probe or overload the service, and do not abuse the AI assistant. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Availability

We work to keep Idus fast and reliable, but the service is provided "as is", without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Export your data regularly if it matters to you (Settings, Data).

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Idus is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Idus and delete your account, with all its data, at any time in Settings. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms; if we discontinue the service, we will give you time to export your data.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of the operator's country of residence. If the terms change in a meaningful way, we will announce it in the app or on the website before the change applies.
